Q: What payment methods are accepted?
A: We accept cash, checks, all major credit cards and several of the electronic funds transfer apps on the market (Zelle, Paypal and Venmo)
Q: What size ball is needed for towing the trailers?
A: 2 5/16” ball is required for our trailers. But don’t worry, we supply an equalizing hitch with each trailer at no extra cost.
Q: Is delivery and setup of the trailer an option?
A: Yes, but it is subject to availability. Please call for a quote.
Q: What are the equipment requirements of the tow vehicle?
A: All tow vehicles must be equipped with a Class III hitch, electric brake controller and a fully functional 7-way, round, wiring socket. If the tow vehicle doesn’t have an electric brake controller, we offer a wireless brake controller for an additional $50 per rental.
Q: Are there additional fees?
A: Additional fees for dumping holding tanks and cleaning of the trailer will be assessed if the trailers are not returned in accordance with the rental agreement. See rental agreement for fees.
Q: What is the cancellation policy?
A: Cancellations made 30 days prior to the pick-up date are subject to a $100 cancellation fee. If less than 30 days prior to departure, the deposit is non-refundable.
Q: Are there minimum rental requirements?
A: During peak season (May 1st– September 30th) a 4-night minimum is required. During the off-peak season a 3-night minimum is in force.
Q: Are there any destination restrictions?
A: Yes, if your destination is Mexico, please find another provider.
Q: Is it safe to drink the water from the camper’s water tank?
A: No, we do not recommend this. It is difficult to know if the water is potable when the tank has been filled at a variety of locations. We recommend using bottled water for drinking and cooking. The water from the tank is fine for washing and bathing.
Q: What happens if the camper I reserved is unavailable?
A: We will make every effort to provide you the trailer you requested, but there are scenarios when we may have to substitute with a similar camper. In the extreme case that a substitution isn’t available, a full refund will be made.
Q: Can I get a copy of the rental contract in advance of my rental?
A: A copy of the rental contract is available upon request.
Q: Are pets allowed in the rentals?
A: Sorry, no pet are allowed in our rentals.
Q: Is a deposit required?
A: A non-refundable reservation deposit of $200 is required to hold the camper. The reservation deposit will be put towards the overall rental fee. A damage/cleaning deposit of $500 is also taken during the pick-up of the camper. That deposit will be refunded upon return and inspection of the trailer to ensure it meets the terms and conditions of the rental agreement.
Q: When can I pick up or return the camper?
A: Unlike many of the large rental companies, we can be very flexible on pick-up and return of the camper. Let’s discuss what works best for you and we’ll align on a schedule.
Q: What if I return the camper before the date it’s due?
A: No refunds will be made for early returns or late pick-ups.
